NukeRecruit is a specialized permanent-placement firm for the U.S. nuclear industry, founded by Christopher Acuña.
Chris has eight years in talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruiting for nuclear and big tech. Most recently he has been the talent lead supporting the restart of Palisades Nuclear Power Plant — hiring into engineering, IT, regulatory assurance, chemistry, and related functions under real NRC standards and plant timelines.
That work included standing up hiring process with hiring managers, sourcing engineering leadership, and staffing a restart — not a generic industrial desk. NukeRecruit exists to bring that same standard to permanent searches nationwide.
The firm is remote-first, based in Southwest Florida. We do not run contract volume. Every search is a long-term hire the team has to live with.
